Healthy Chocolate Hummus

Apples dipped in chocolate brownie batter dip

Healthy Chocolate Hummus tastes like a spoonful of brownie batter, but won’t leave you with an energy crash.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons milk or non-dairy milk alternative
  • 1 15oz can black beans, drained and rinsed very well
  • 1/4 cup No Added Sugar SunButter
  • 23 tablespoons granulated sugar (or desired sweetener)
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Add milk, black beans, SunButter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt to a high-powered blender or food processor. Blend on high until smooth and creamy. You may need to pause to scrape down the sides of the blender.
  2. Fold in chocolate chips so evenly distributed.
  3. Transfer the dip into a small dish and serve with apple slices, strawberries, graham crackers, pretzels, or just eat it by the spoonful! Enjoy!
