Nut Free Monster Cookie Granola

Nut Free Monster Cookie Granola is a fun twist on traditional granola made with oats, seeds, SunButter, and all the usual monster cookie additions, like chocolate chips, raisins, and M&Ms. Perfect to add to yogurt or munch on by the handful!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons Organic SunButter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup M&Ms or chocolate-coated candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Add oats, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt to a mixing bowl and toss together.
  3. Microwave SunButter with honey for 20-30 seconds, until extra drippy.
  4. Add the SunButter and honey to the oat mixture and toss together until dry ingredients are evenly coated.
  5. Distribute granola on the baking sheet and press together, so it looks like 1 large cookie.
  6. Bake at 325°F for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and carefully flip with a spatula. Then press the granola down with the back of the spatula. You should still have a very large piece of granola.
  7. Return to the oven for another 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely. The granola will become extra crunchy as it cools.
  8. Once granola is cooled, break into chunks and add chocolate chips, raisins, and M & Ms. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Serve with yogurt, milk, or enjoy a handful as is!
