Chocolate Brownie Nut Free Energy Bars

Instructions

  1. Soak dates in water for 10 minutes. Drain after 10 minutes, but reserve 2 tablespoons of the water.
  2. Add dates and 2 tablespoons of water to a high-powered blender or food processor with the remaining ingredients. Blend until mostly smooth. You may need to pause to scrape down the sides of the blender/processor a couple of times.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a parchment paper-lined loaf pan. Press down with your finger until the “dough” is flat on top. You may want to top with plastic cling wrap and press down with your hands. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  4. Cut into 6 bars. Wrap in plastic wrap to stay fresh.
