Chocolate Strawberry Nice Cream

Ingredients

¼ cup flax milk

5 medium bananas, sliced and frozen

1 cup chopped strawberries, divided

3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

½ teaspoon sea salt or pink Himalayan salt

¼ cup mini chocolate chips

Optional: sugar cones, sprinkles, additional chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Add flax milk, half of the frozen banana slices, half of the strawberries, cocoa powder, and salt to a food processor or high-powered blender. Then add the remaining half of the frozen banana slices on top. Blend/process until smooth.
  2. Transfer ice cream into a freezer-safe container (that has a lid to prevent freezer burn).
  3. Mix in the remaining strawberries and chocolate chips. Freeze for at least 30 minutes, allowing the nice cream to solidify for more ice cream-like consistency.
  4. Enjoy in a bowl, cone or straight from the freezer!
