Chocolate Strawberry Energy Bites are the perfect pick me up when you have a little chocolate craving after a meal or before your workout. Plus, this ode to a Valentine’s Day favorite makes them perfect snack for your kids this month!

Ingredients

1 cup negor dates or medjool dates
¼ cup cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup freeze dried strawberries
1 serving unflavored protein powder
2 tablespoons oat flour
For chocolate drizzle: ¼ cup dark chocolate chips + ½ teaspoon liquid coconut oil + flaky sea salt
Instructions
Add dates, cacao powder, freeze dried strawberries, protein powder, and oat flour to a food processor. Pulse until the combination comes together in a ball. The dough will be sticky.
Roll into balls.
For the chocolate drizzle: Microwave the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, mixing in between until fully melted. Drizzle melted chocolate on top and decorate with crushed freeze dried strawberries and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt. Enjoy!
