{Back to School} 25 Simple Food Allergy Friendly Snacks
Head back to school in style with these simple food allergy friendly snacks that are sure to be crowd pleasers. Not heading back to school? You’ll still love these simple snacks!
The other day on social media I saw that some kids already started school! I guess August is already more than halfway over, but I still can’t believe that! Here in New York most schools don’t start until after Labor Day. This year, since Labor Day is so late most kids head back the week before…but the first week of AUGUST?! I guess they finish earlier…
Food allergies have become a huge concern for schools, kids and parents nationwide. According to Food Allergy Research and Education, 1 in 13 children has a severe food allergy. That’s about 2 children in every classroom. When I was in elementary school, kids were still able to bring PB&J for lunch, but there was an optional “nut free” table. Like I wanted to sit by myself?! Today, schools are much more allergy aware and friendly!
