Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a circular cake pan with oil. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine all dry ingredients — flours, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs well. Add honey, applesauce, oil and vanilla. 
  4. Slowly mix in dry ingredients until just combined. Then mix in apples and raisins.
  5. Immediately pour mixture into your cake pan.
  6. Bake at 350° F for 25-30 minutes. A toothpick should come out clean. Let cool on a wire baking rack. Drizzle with honey before serving [optional].
